The Welsh are a great nation, I mean it goes without saying that any country that can boast Max Boyce and Fireman Sam as custodians must desreve a poem of such magnitude as this one. Fine effort, you deserve greatness and biscuits!

Very strong, emotionally evocative. In stanza two, it reads awkwardly to end a line with "within" and start the next one with "in". Minor quibbles. "I'm sorry, is all that you can say..." --name that artist.

"Little Sister don't you, LS don't you, LS don't you kiss me once or twice, say it's very nice..." but I digress. Plathensian.

'I wasn't thinking of the fame', I think it should be. Is this to do with Jackie Kennedy?

I thought this poem was about "On the waterfront". Works for me.

When mental energy is concentrated, intelligence is increased. For all intents and purposes, it makes you more intelligent. You will get better grades if you take this drug. People will find you clever.
Don't you have a fucking harp to go tune somewhere

I don't dislike this poem, but it get's very cliche.

The last stanza is the best, as far as I'm concerned. With the bums begging for sleep. This poem works. You make this task of writing look easy, and we both know it is not. The tension between the protaganists longing and his inability to become intimate, to care, startle me with the accuracy. You make me weep.
i liked the title and mood...i've never been much of a morning person...which is my point.6.
'sleeps slips far'--tasty!

Somehow, the Billy Preston tune "nothing from nothing leaves nothing" fits in here. Rent the movie "Pi", baba.
it could also just be that the little yellow bus is broke down and it's halloween...bombing is bad, saddam is also bad...hire the washington sniper put him on peyote and tell him he's on a mission from all-ah to kill saddam and replace him..to finally bring peace...amen and doug....read the old testament could you...please. thanks war! war! more war! that is all...aries has to stretch a little too...otherwise we grow nerdy as a physical people, and that my friend leads to bad breeding and deformities...good day.
