Could you please tell me how the Civil War has anything to do with Ronald Reagan? Thanks.

No, he's on poemranker because he's a crazy freak and a merry jester. And he IS that starved for attention. You'd best go about your business now.

Currently, the best country band in America is Wilco. Or Kenny Chesney. Checkmate.

They don't want to. Imperfect people amuse them.

What a load of crap.
People who harm others mostly do so because they're more perfect than them, and therefore entitled to it. This causes all of the people who aren't perfect enough to do harm to band together into tribes that claim they don't want perfection anyway. Then the tribes fall apart into jellylike puddles of complex carbohydrates, which is the lowest common denominator of all living things.

Your spelling actually burns my eyes.
How can I give 'get' any credit when in a mere thirty words you've misspelled or otherwise botched 'load', 'shit,', 'zodiac', 'it's', 'git', 'gits.', 'There are', and 'lose'?

Maybe that's because he's not talking about the poem "Howl" by Allen Ginsberg.

I'm going with the Peace Corps as a result of a gigantic enrollment scam. They told me I'd be stationed in Mayfair.
Thanks for the props. I've got a ton of decent songs, but the band's been at a standstill for the last month anyway, since the drummer and keyboardist decided to take us in "jazzier directions" - whatever the hell that means. Maybe I'll give it another shot when I get back, but I can't imagine wanting to. Give me a job writing, doing something where I don't have to submit myself to a half dozen others' stoned opinions all the time.
Or as some non-zero games theorist. That would be pretty ace.

In response to this poem, I would suggest you become a gay. Homos don't have to deal with all the crap in relationships that we normals do, since they've had to work so hard just to get Official Bummer status, and aren't likely to screw it all up over something so silly as who forgot to take out the trash. Think about it.
Oh, and ace 'EE' rhymes!
