The ivory sky begins to rust. The burning clouds return to dust. I wish you were here with me tonight Cos you make all thats wrong seem right Scream out loud, the silence kills me. The rotten shreds of dignity. The way your face looked in the moonlight, the memories rush back here tonight. Chorus: But its time for this fable world to end. You're not comin' home again. The sun will burn away the shadows and I'll be in the dark again. The empty bottle on the table.. Faded picture on the wall. Let me know that I was with you, when I didn't want to know at all. The missing piece is my obsession. The wounded pride is my disease. The weeping clown is my impression, and the end is my release. So its time for this fable world to end You're not coming home again. The sun will burn away the shadows and I'll be in the dark again.

I wrote this my freshman year of college and ran across it tonight. Since I'm 1/2 drunk and don't much feel like writing, I decided to post it. Please have mercy, as it is what it is. ;o)
