My Angel

I was granted an Angel, My own taste of Heaven; A shadowed miracle To call my very own. Upon my first test to prove my loyalty, I faltered and collapsed Casting my Angel away. Life without my loving Angel Has been sheer torture on my soul. My heart has taken a beating. I know I cannot go on alone. No matter what is said or done, My Angel will always hold my heart. Even if our love is not made To blossom here on Earth, Our love will bloom eternally When we meet again in Heaven.
