the shore

upon the shores we watch the dance of a million points of light that reach to us and hold our hands and tell us what we already know. we listen to the music of the sea as it laps against the shore; close our eyes and feel the wind kiss the smiles that we share; feel the cool spray from clear blue waves as we begin to drift away, soaring through the cool night air that breezes by, lifts us to the sky;dream of everything that is and never was as perfect as this eve and share in this moment everything we know, we feel, we love. to open our eyes again and know that we never will forget how wonderful we were in this brief moment that will last us forever.
