I used to wonder Why the earth is so big The universe so vast And space so spread apart There are billions of us And because the earth is so big The universe so vast There is space for all of us

And there is also scope for movies about aliens. You might want to edit out one of the repeated 'ands', the one at the start of line 4 seems the obvious choice to me.
