I feel stuck in re-verse Always rehearse and rehearse The very same lines and the very same words, But all I can do is curse. Curse the sky and curse the sea; curse you and, God, curse me. Curse all the things that we used to be; curse everyting. Now, promise me you'll find someone to put you at ease. Promise me you'll find your peace. I'm sorry for the things I put you through, But there's just some things that you can't undo. I'm sorry to say that I'm through - I'm through with me and you. Please don't think I won't miss the time that's gone by, But, baby, it just don't seem right That every day is a lie. Now promise me you'll find someone to make you happy. Promise me you'll find your peace. I feel stuck in reverse. I feel stuck in reverse.
