I lay on the beach and I seethe Cold, I shiver and struggle to breathe Waiting for the tides to sink this pain Drown my heart and wash out my brain Under the waves I still burn Crash and tumble, forced to turn Losing track of the sun and sky As the world slowly goes by Hearts can beat under the sea And you can go on with out me But I???ve learned you???re my air And I can???t exhale til you???re there Count the millions I would pay Look at all that I could give away To have you take me to shore I???d give this world and more Do you see my arms as they flail? While I drown, turn green and pale Can you not reach out a helping hand? Am I invisible from your castle of sand?
