i never want to see you leave to return to the darkness without your smile back to my sad thoughts and you alone when the night has ended time comes to steal you away all i can do is wait until i see you again until i win my war with time i hate to see you ever go walk into the cold and lonely night to cast a shadow on your face and leave you alone for that initial moment the dark hides your toughts and the silence leaves a frightening void until i hear your voice again until you speak of a time it seems i can never win i am waiting i am hurried only to be waiting again i never want to leave your side the warmth of your voice and the embrace of your smile my world stops when i'm with you if only time would too it seems i can't win it seems we can't win until i see you again until i lose my fight with time
