Go Figure (Free verse) by MacFrantic Everyone says they've got me figured out
That's great
Except
I can't seem to add the figures up myself
I took a walk yesterday
You know what I found?
A tire for swinging
A discarded windshield
And a firetruck
Some people say
It was an accident
I say the tree had it comin'
Don't mind life too much
Or life might start minding you
And no one wants that.
Up the ladder:
do androids dream?
Down the ladder:
the greatest moment that never existed

The first and last verses are a frame for a vague picture in between. The picture gives impressions, not conclusions. Good.
Alright, not mad keen on the first verses, I can't work myself out sentiment. Tire should be tyre I think.
Like the final verse.
Tyre is the british variant of tire; they're the same word, but thanks.
