Lets see... 1997 - Your dad was still around, I was busted in 1999, he split in...oh...1998 but was really starting to screw up in '97 smoking and whatnot. I remember this poem - all the fuss from everyone who couldn't or didn't get it. Only a little girl who grew up in the shadow of the ________ and seen the shit you saw could write this. But baby, get over it. It's great work, and aren't you glad it's all behind us? And you were as protected as any of your cousins, etc. in your dads family - it was a business, that's all. It just wasn't acceptable in this society. DRUGS ARE BAD!!! BAD BAD BAD. MAYBE IF THERE WAS "DARE" WHEN I WAS LITTLE, I WOULDN'T BE SUCH A BAD MOMMY. SMELLING MARIJUANA TABLETS MIGHT HAVE CHANGED MY LIFE!
See, now doesn't it sound ridiculous?
Anyway - great poem.
Issues, No More like Volumes LoL
Thief, otherwise tragically hip and audacious.
