One of my favorite things about this poem is that it's a shorter, mathier version of my Greyhound poem. It's also the least over-cocksure thing you've written, maybe. Does this mean you can put math poems to rest now?

I like your use of the "—". The rest of it's a nice description of a dire emotion but to me it's only a very general emotion since I can't pinpoint which "words" are haunting you exactly or which events you're wishing to "forget" so badly. Though through and through this poem works. The word choice (especially "eternity") pulls it off. •°•Gregory James•°•

Hey, I like this guy. He and I could sing a couple of good old country songs togther. "He Stopped Loving Her Today," "Didn't Know God Made Honky Tonk Angels" and the like. Was he drinking an American Brew? I prefer a dark beer myself with plenty of salty nuts.

(i) A beat B and got as fish as a reward. (ii) A, 1; B, a fish. Have I oversimplified? Yes they are different. But the fish is present as reward in (i) or score in (ii).

I like it because of it's final line. Three dimensional logic is fuckin restrictive, and nothing will cause you more heart ache. Hope is fleeting, happiness fleeting, glory fleeting.. but we can have the time of our lives chasing them down. This is and "we are".

No. A fish is a fish is a fish. Consider the artistic value of these two sentences: (i) Real Madrid beat Sur(real) Madrid and get a fish as a reward. (ii) Real Madrid 1 Sur(real) Madrid a fish. There is no comparison. The fish is in its rightful place. That is to say nowhere, or indeed present nowhere.
