I agree with you ...thanks for comment ...that really helps me ..
A good idea, but not strongly presented.
I'd like to see the ending be more definitive.
I became a mystic
They are just consumers
Led me to find myself
Trying to keep the decaying day away
As the people become more hollow
please peter-- take her back!
oh wait, it's a guy. same deal!
quickly, get her back--before you have to write any more poems like these
"tears Flowed like a river bed"??? Riverbeds don't flow, and most of the other analogies don't work either. they seem only there for the rhymes.
Please check spelling before submitting. Thank you.
that was a good poem...
Thanks, Dovina.
Your Friend,
Doug
Not a new thought, but a good one. Not really a haiku either, but a good way to live.
I respect your Christian position on this, and would respect it even more if you would try to see the relationship between the two columns or sides of the poem, and try to see how thinking in the present aids in understanding. Thank you.
If I have aggravated misunderstanding, then I have succeeded. If I have shown two conversations about the same thing, then I have succeeded more. Thanks.
A Ranticle about god is angst that aggravates misunderstanding. Just remember the sentence. "What Would Jesus Do?" Keep in mind "We're all dying (some faster than others)." Ah there's the peace we seek. -9-
Obviously, your best.
the great mind of God knows what time is yes, but knows no time, God always was, always is and always will be, God created time, so to say He only helps those in the present is somewhat false... Rather, he helps those who want to be helped, who ask for it, whenever in whatever time
And a repecctful kinda fun that some might call wierd, which made it all the more fun. Thanks.
Thanks, I think, depending on what mess you mean.
Hmmm interesting thoughts, bet I know where you were when you thought of this one.................
very nicely done
