Ditty? hrmm.. maybe, but I don't think I'd be the man to do it. btw: Monitory, adjective - def: Serving to warn.
Well its not like I post such stuff often.. or at all.. sheesh. So I've indulged myself once. :P Thanks for your comments.
MacFrantic on Ellis Evans: Rhyfel- War by Sasha 10 Jul 2004, 9:40 PM
Is that the literal translation, or did it just happen to rhyme in English as well? *10*
Dovina on Bach by Rodavlas 10 Jul 2004, 7:23 PM
Line 2 doesn't seem to jive with line 1, unless it's a gut feeling about Bach's music. Line 5: no one. Bach's music is quite mathematical in how it sounds, and doesn't usually call up a "tender face" or "serenity and grace."
Shuushin on Bach by Rodavlas 10 Jul 2004, 7:19 PM
The rhymes aint too bad at all; unforced, and I was liking the sonnet-like structure - until the last line. that has to go, really does.

Rodavlas on Not Being Me by pinay_miss_azn 10 Jul 2004, 6:25 PM
because feeling cold is the only way we can remember what it feels like to be warm. And HOW you are is very different than WHO you are. I would work on the WHO part and let the HOW follow. Keep it up. It sounds like you have a lot more to let out.

richa on Tweenager, they're called now. by fevriere 10 Jul 2004, 2:24 PM
"Thus is more than you can aim unto," Is a strange thing to say for a tweenager. Must have been watching Dawson's creek I guess. I get the feeling of someone moving into young adulthood. There is apprehension in 'make a wanton of me' (I am guessing you use wanton in its precise sense of unchaste). The relationship between the tweenager and the narrator is unclear. The same person, a younger sister maybe. There is an elegance in the poem, a clear progression and a certain feeling of reflection. Very good.

I usually yawn at this sort of political rant. But it's not a bad rendition of a familiar chant

So you have a problem with islamic terrorists and christians dropping cluster bombs and people dying and that members of the army do what they are told. Big whoop.
