Are you still there? Do you want to share? We both knew how you felt about him from the start And I didn’t want to change what was in your heart (Chorus) And so I left your side whether or not you cared Hoped that your life with him would only thrive But he opened the window in order to change the air For it wasn’t you who he needed to survive Was it worth it? Do your feelings fit? You were better than most of whom I saw before And I didn’t want to list you as just another whore (Chorus) Are you crying? Or is it just self-denying? Does it hurt not having him there? I know what you’re going though And you don’t need to go alone You have a whole life to grow So just leave him on his own (Chorus/Ending)
