What We Left

Sadly left you back here For all of these years So unattended With all of these fears If whether I come back And hold you in my arms If you remember me From being so far (Chorus) With the questions haunting us… Will we remember what we left years ago Or do we move on with these lives to explore Will we find completion in the eyes of others Or will we remain the innocence with one another Are we fooling ourselves with what we left years ago And hoping for what is a forbidden reality Will we grasp this love or let it go Will the connection last between you and me What we left behind To what do we owe Those who tried to take our place The shoulder still ever so cold Or the lips with the enchanting taste If our bond revives from the ash Are we to own it to heart If these memories are to last Does it wash the outsider’s marks (Chorus) The moment is now to decide How we are to define this ride The roller coaster burdening our minds Are we but one or separate lives (Chorus/Ending)
