You were here then you were gone, The sad tragdy happened just around down. I awoke the next morning to hear the news I was told the driver drank too much booze I fell to the couch and broke into tears We've been together for so many years This much be a dream, it cant be true You dont know how much I miss you It's going to be hard to recover Especially because you were my mother What now, I'm so confused All this pain, I feel abused Cant you take my hand And take me to your fantasy land No dont do that, dont bother Lots of people need me now, like my father This is harder then you think And all this happened because of a drink Why did this have to happen to you Please tell me, I dont have a clue I just have on final request Before you are laid to rest Please watch over me and my brother I'll never forget you my dear mother I love you mum
