Can You Hear Us Now?

can you hear us now? we've paved over the bones of your followers. we've destroyed your mothers, lovers, fathers, daughters, and now we search in our souls for yours. can you hear us now? metallic monsters roar across plains once living. trees stand, stone, towering and lifeless. life itself becomes a zombie dance, some shout and cry but few know that it is you we need think of your existance and wonder... can you hear us now?

great start. love the stark feel of this piece. would be so much more potent if you define who "you" is (or offer up some more clues)
