survivor

I'm the sole survivor in a plan that went awry seems i'm all that's left after everything around me died. for once upon a ime ago in a land that's far from here we dremt of endings not to come & of hopes now turned to tears My heart's the sole survivor of a life i once ld & knew blinded to another's dreams by a love i thought was true. but daylight can't last forever for darkness will always come & dawn is not about new joy only pain the day can't numb My spirit's the soul survivor & the rest of me fails to see how all the pieces on the ground will ever again be me. you left a place inside my heart for doubts of love or lust where all who enter fear to walk & where i am afraid to trust.
