Aimless

My soul is like the tide, And my heart like the ocean, The basis and foundation, For all my devotion, What's inside me, You can see, Like a ship wandering aimlessly, Upon the ocean, The tide must roll, Like emotions out of control, The tide comes in, The tide goes out, Like my spirit, Its cast about, Like a ship all alone, Needs the tide to carry on, Like my heart, Full of emotion, So are the waves upon the ocean!
