Talk about malfunction: "(Reuters) - Circumcised men are less likely to be infected with the virus that causes AIDS because of biological reasons and not less risky behavior, scientists said on Friday. Studies have shown that men whose foreskin has been removed are six to eight times less likely to become HIV positive but there has been some debate about the reason for the lower infection rate. Researchers at Johns Hopkins University Medical School in Baltimore, Maryland found that circumcision had a protective effect against HIV, but not against other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as syphilis or gonorrhoea."

"Dear Prudie,
I am self-employed and work at home. To my shame, and occasional self-loathing, I check out free pornography sites from time to time. (I have never gone further and actually paid to see more.) The other day I came across a porn scene featuring a female actress who, I swear, looks just like one of my cousins. Because the film clip is so brief, I can't be sure this person is my cousin. I'm not sure what my obligations are in this case. This cousin has been through some rough times recently (divorce, custody battle), and I would hate to think she felt she had to resort to porn to make ends meet. Our family has the resources to help her out. To verify her identity, or disprove it (I hope), I would have to pay $5 for a temporary membership. I've never wanted to do this for all kinds of reasons. The most practical of the problems: The charge would pop up on my credit card statement, which, in turn, would be spotted by my wife. What should I do? (And I also worry that I have a minor addiction to porn.)
âDilemma From My DSL"

not bad, monkey. the longer lines help the AA BB rhymes which can easily be tiresome.
Maybe you can do something with this line
"And all the more I think about it, fear disgruntles breath"
and the last couplet, too. What's there is an example of a mixed metaphor - you have all this infantry imagery, then in comes the navy. Know what I mean? Don't run out of steam at the end!!
lastly, I won't second guess all your semicolons, since I'm pretty lenient with them, but I raised an eyebrow at a few.

It's not too shabby, abby.
It presents a fairly solid package with a good ending. Sure - have an 8.

How do you get two poems in two days? Oh, I see, you revised a prior poem; all those comments are on an old version. I'm a bee in a new hive, just learning how to behave.
The Eighth day must be the day after creation was completed by, dare I say, God, at least it was "as planned." It does seem some obvious things were overlooked, but who knows. It's a provoking thought, and therefore good.

Not bad - the poem I mean. Tennessee is beautiful, especially the hills around Jackson County. Still, we hang on, even to the bad, it's hard to leave. Good sentiment.
