This is my favorite part: "The love of pure killing
incites me to rush
in close, to enjoy
the feel of skin
quickly turned
into dark colors. "
Nice, but could use a few apostrophes.

I usually don't like rhyming poetry...
Ride the snake!
This poem was written Christmas 2001.
This poem was written late Fall 2001.
I liked the last parts after the word Chorus.
i like your poem, its good to see people write about God
This poem was written Fall 2001.
genius.. kiddo, your poetry does not look like the work of brilliance, and weed certainly wont help.
See, that's much better.
No offense, but is remorselessly a word?
One question: are you in love?
I liked your statement "I guess that was that," but I want to know more. What else were you feeling? Relief that it was over? Not wanting it to be over?
Did you feel like you had been "picked clean" - by him or yourself? Was the squirrel a metaphor for something?
I love the imagery here. I really felt this one.
Was the desire to have something delicious all to yourself?
A finely crafted poem.
"Does the desert miss the rain?" Do you like that song? Your title is lame. Your attemmpt alone is crippled, but your sincerity deserves a 6.4. Which is a powerful earthquake in latin American standards.
i like your poem, but should we aim for purgatory? if we do we surely won't make it, aim for Heaven, i give it an 8 though, better than i can write
Ah ha! It is actually I who have been playing all of you all along! Without even joining Poemranker until today - that is how wily I am! I think you will find my latest contribution most informative.
And, despite my request for the fraud to give his response/report has been answered only with silence.
This is the same lame bastard who has always spoken of doing mature discourse.. now he doesn't seem to take any pleasure in doing so.
Now, we know his retardation. silence speaks for itself. (im laughing, really: dejavu..)
