reading this poem makes me feel empty. or sad or something because everybody knows an enigma similar to the one you describe. an untouchable or something
I find this very relaxing. At least I know I'm not the only one counting tiles when on line at Taco Bell. Seriously...your perspective on things around is very unique. I wish you were my neighbor so we could drink beers and laugh about things around us.

i'm not sure whether to laugh or cry. clearly someone is in pain or torture but the glance back with a smile and nod is so detatched from emotion that...

looks like the character is accepting the failure instead of overcoming it. like the kid who had his lunch money stolen. scrawny and afraid. bruises. but where does he go? he goes in a locker because he does nothing about it
famenglory on some deleted poem 1 Jan 2003, 4:48 PM
the last line is gripping. but do you prefer balance caused by chaos? (where was i going with that statement anyway?) but you shouldn't be so afraid to have people find things out about you. if you become to detatched then no one can hear you scream... (again, where was i going with that?)

it's good, it doesn't tell you straight out what's happening, but you get it when you think. i feel bad for the poor girl being raped in an elevator.
