Are you Ray Davies? If not, nice bit of plagiarism!

This is a difficult read - maybe fewer exclamtion marks and declarations would help?

Sophie Ellis Bextor? Don't get hung up on geometry.

There's a crack up in the ceiling, And the kitchen sink is leaking. Out of work and got no money, A Sunday joint of bread and honey. What are we living for? Two-roomed apartment on the second floor. No money coming in, The rent collector's knocking, trying to get in. We are strictly second class, We don't understand, (Dead end!) Why we should be on dead end street. (Dead end!) People are living on dead end street. (Dead end!) Gonna die on dead end street. Dead end street (yeah) Dead end street (yeah) On a cold and frosty morning, Wipe my eyes and stop me yawning. And my feet are nearly frozen, Boil the tea and put some toast on. What are we living for? Two-roomed apartment on the second floor. No chance to emigrate, I'm deep in debt and now it's much too late. We both want to work so hard, We can't get the chance, (Dead end!) People live on dead end street. (Dead end!) People are dying on dead end street. (Dead end!) Gonna die on dead end street. Dead end street (yeah) Dead end street (yeah) (Dead end!) People live on dead end street. (Dead end!) People are dying on dead end street. (Dead end!) Gonna die on dead end street. Dead end street (yeah) Dead end street (yeah) Dead end street (yeah) Head to my feet (yeah) Dead end street (yeah) Dead end street (yeah) Dead end street (yeah) How's it feel? (yeah) How's it feel? (yeah) Dead end street (yeah) Dead end street (yeah)

Amusing. Why not send some flour through the post so it looks like anthrax, and work gets evacuated? Note to CIA man reading this: That's a joke.

Its good, but only cause its about a guy with the same name as me! Wow!
Tarquin De La Bog on I don't fit in by devina 9 Oct 2002, 3:30 AM
Woeful. 0. If I had a pound for every outpouring of teenage angst that I've read on this site, I'd be a very rich man. There's nothing particularly wrong with your words apart from being a masterclass in how to write dull cliches, but PLEASE change the subject matter and stop sounding so whiny and pathetic. Look up unoriginal in the dictionary, and this poem would be there. I am offended to my core.
devina on Losing Control by Tarquin De La Bog 9 Oct 2002, 3:36 AM
Excuse me, but this is not a poem, it's a story. Silly isn't it? A poem is not a story.... I thought you knew that, you who knows so much, huh?
devina on Dirty Pops by Tarquin De La Bog 9 Oct 2002, 3:41 AM
Oh my God, what are you to talk about good and bad poems? You don't know shit.
devina on Losing Control by Tarquin De La Bog 9 Oct 2002, 3:55 AM
I know alot about poems, so if I were you, I wouldn't say something foolish, beside I'm not a child.... But I guess you are since you critize people when you don't know a damn shit about them. If I were you I'd take a minute to think about what you're saying, and a poem can't be a story, it's a reason it's called a story and not a poem.

The best ones always come quickly. 'Instructions to a Sculptor' took me five minutes and it's my greatest hit! This is great. Click clickety click

Very sensitive to a boy's coming of age and the problems it brings. You really are a student of men aren't you?
Nicholas Jones on Friendship by Blue Magpie 9 Oct 2002, 5:08 AM
Very nice. It makes a change from all the people showing off how many rude words they know.
Nicholas Jones on Creativity. by Blue Magpie 9 Oct 2002, 5:11 AM
Some lovely couplets. Yes, creativity can be a necessary part of life - but surely you have the tools of the poet?
lukehanney on Possibilities by Nicholas Jones 9 Oct 2002, 5:31 AM
What a load of rubbish, however it does rhyme.

Much looser and more discursive than your stuff usually is. I like the contemplative mood of this, the story it tells,
Nicholas Jones on rapping on caffeine by blackball 9 Oct 2002, 5:30 AM
Simplicity is often very effective, as it is here. But the poem itself speaks of complexity, if innate notions can change from black to white, all stability is destroyed.
