I don't think the end redeems anything. He should never have died? hmmmm I thought it was well conceived and well written until the last few lines... though the entire last stanza is awkward.

you have a smaller mind. you must have a mind full of distorts. i hope you are young and have not exhausted your capacity for learning and change. This "poem" is horribly garbled. Is English your native language?

fucking hilarious. Why is he taking pain killers that poison his body? There are perfectly good painkillers on the market that do not poison the body. nothing worse than a poor afficted soul, eh? the end line makes it all worth while, and completely stands this motherfucker on its head and redeems it with a broom handle.

Re: My Friend Burgers by ?-Dave_Mysterious-? -=Dark_Angel=-, P.I. 81.153.196.50 30-Oct-04/8:04 AM
I was just about to send Burgers a link to this poeme, but on reading it a second time I realised that that would be an unbelievably appalling idea. Particularly so soon after his you know what.

Just the last part is concrete. But still a good story. Chris Reeves would be proud.

Hello President Bush how are you. No really I agree with your stance. I once wrote about this too. A child unwanted is all the more wanted, This I know to be true, For they are like angels meant only for heaven, Those who we wish we knew, Some are to be born into a world of regret, Others to be born into death, Some seeking love never getting enough of, Others never getting a breath. Your poems good but could use some shortening.

You don't need the second sentence. The bird puns were a little corny but fit with the story. Is it me or do my comments have a tendancy to rhyme. Oh well makes up for all that damn free verse out there. Anyhow I loved the story. And I suppose it's poetry so bravo.

Whilst ropes huh? Sounds a little archaic for common language

It's all fine except the "ding a dong" part. Last time my dong was dinged it hurt like hell.
