Much like my dark black country, Nigeria, except that unlike you, I do not see the "children born of hope" here, we are all a long way from "A new beginning"

He won't change. They never do, dear. Take him as he is or not at all. I like the frustration I see in this poem.

Yea, I've felt like that, the haunting love of divinity, into the mystical world. Why is that? Good poem.

Interesting. I am not familiar with the fallacies of Cartesian Materialism...but would love to learn about them. Can you explain them?

Unfortunately, the "uncooked" beef is in wait for the fire. The butcher deed is done already.... if only our love can become love beyond the self then maybe freedom can grow to mean something in us for others.
Good poem can only fit in a world transformed free from strive and competition

love can only truly be love only when its reason is nothing but love, even God or Jesus for a reason to hinged love on, trepasses on the singular preserve of love.
I like the agitation with which the poem was written , keep close to your feelings and for sure the world would yet see more and even better poems from you.

Suddenly I remember why rhyming fell into disrepute. But hey, unless you've died before, how d'you know that death's not worse?
