I like this. It's harsh and blunt, but I like that it's straight-forward. The rhymes don't really distract the reader eithre, especially at the end. At the beginning, they were kind of shoddy, but it's okay, because the poem was good. I really enjoyed this. I hope to see another one like it...

P.S. - I'd appreciate it if you'd take a look at one of my poems too.

I don't like the form this was written in at all. It makes it seem unlike poetry. If you had just written it in a different form, I think that would have made it a lot better. My rating won't reflect that, though. Just for future reference.

P.S. - I'd appreciate it if you'd read and review one of my poems in return.

I take it as a kind of priestly advice for gaining "Absolution" for having committed the perceived sin af adultry, advising the woman to tell her child his breeding. She questions whether to tell, apparently because of guilt feelings. The last verse is provocatively ambiguous because we don't know whether the "ears" are the child's or the world's. Good.

the beautiful thing about the english language is that it is so diversified and evolving. poem can easily be one syllable or two. i don't see the big issue here, though i am rooting for two, just because it's funnier.
also amelia: two syllables or three?

normally acrostic poems suck, but this was really great! like dark angel said, you really phrase perfectly the feeling of love

A mysterious kinda thing, I won't even say all the interpretations it could have or the problems with them. Let it be for the intuition.

spelling and grammar aren't what poetry is about, but the lack of them distracts from the message. All that aside, I could see the feeling behind this. Avoid cliche - deeper _than_ the sea, is not a fresh image.
