You appar to like the phrases "ice cold" and "cold as ice". I can well understand why. Other than ice, it's quite difficult to think of something cold, isn't it?

Fantastic work! It got everyone talking didn't it? And about Aids which I haven't heard talked about in the media for ages now. It made me laugh and it still does. People need to not take this so seriously and before someone writes back telling me - "how can you not take it seriously", I don't mean aids, I just mean that often humour and off-colour peices are often the best way to get things talked about. Grow up everyone! I think it's great because of the reaction and I'm giving it a 10!

Nice a poker face...

Short, sweet, sentimental...and I like that in a poem...I am not the best poet around, I just write what comes to mind....edit when I need to and delete too lol...it all comes with practice...not a one of us are perfect....poetry all means something different to each of us...and as far as rhyming goes, a poem doesn't always have to rhyme....

This is a beautiful poem...I had lost my Father 12 years ago....not the same as a Mother's love....but it is a horrible loss just the same...my heart goes out to you and thank you for commenting on a couple of my poems ( and you are so right about the comments you left)
