Thanks for the corrections and timeout.
Well at least now we know where the leakage all goes when your winged maxi pad ruptures. Your math.
Damn! I forgot 20% wacky Oliver-Twist-meets-Jack-Kerouac biography! What am I up to now, like 120%?

s1 - s3 flow pretty well. I think that when you start a pattern like this, you commit yourself to follow it through to the end. When you change patterns midway through, it sends a reader wandering.
I'm not gay, I'm unibrow.
What, don't you have a name?

a bit weird looking, eh? The third stanza is supposed to have four lines

pretty good write, but not a haiku. It seems like it might be a hook for a longer poem.

A bit disjointed and unfocused it seems. Could do without the last line.

I absolutely love this poem. I applaud the synical tone of its anti-consumeristic message, although it does sound a bit like a Earth Liberation Front homepage message. Nevertheless, kudos.

I'd like to see a greater emphasis on the apron and less about your emotions.
Jeremi B. Handrinos? LOL.

Much better. But with the new, longer footnote you need to find another way to set it apart, methinks.
richa on Severed Arm by jessicazee 13 Apr 2004, 7:09 AM
Quite good really, the language could be more punchy, but that is my only criticism.

very good, agree with shuushin about s3 though.

5 syllables - 7 syllables - 5 syllables. You don't have to stick to such a structure but the fact you did the numbers with words suggests a misconception. The idea is ok but would be better as a throw away line not an entire poem.

The capitalisation is odd. The pace is what you seem to be going for, but it does seem a bit cobbled together.
