That poem will make me feel better if I were sad, worried or upset.
Thanks for the comments. The original theme would be poverty, but really extends to anything that survives under unlikely and fruitless conditions. I know i messed up in the middle, but this was a long time ago, and i pretty much just gave up.
-=Dark_Angel=-, P.I. on Late Night Moon by lastobelus 23 Jan 2004, 5:31 PM
I don't understand why the moon made you into a puppet. Nor do I understand why your shadows lurched 'sheepishly'. Should it be "feet of the sea" or "foot of the sea"? You usually hear people say "at the foot of the mountain", but ne'er "at the feet of the mountain"... or is that wrong?
Goad on Your Kind by TripleHGurl 23 Jan 2004, 4:51 PM
What the hell are you talking about? What kind? Can we get some kind of clue here what you're talking about?
Goad on That's What It's all about. by madjack2 23 Jan 2004, 4:49 PM
what what's all about? The hokey pokey? Please next time wait 'till it has stopped dribbling before you shake it all about.
Goad on She Cries by holden_caulfield 23 Jan 2004, 4:38 PM
Who the fuck is she? WHY did the stars become runny? Let me get this straight: a naked ship is going to fall on us gently like a snowflake out of the winter mists? A ship... Okey dokey. How can the gentle, floating ship be both brittle and snowflake-like?
I don't want to be touched by Boo.

well, you certainly squeezed that one dry. You must have been thirsty. That can happen when you go wandering in the arroyos of life. Dry, dry, dry, and then BAM a deluge that leaves you broken and sodden.
Goad on If by elixir 23 Jan 2004, 4:13 PM
WAS. WAS WAS WAS WAS. WAS. AAAARGGGHHH how could you DO that to me. It's like scratching a blackboard. If love WAS I WOULD. If love IS I WILL. Got it?

Oh? and it didn't remind you of, um, any mid-eighties dance music, at all?
Goad replying on Love Obsession (the stalker's song) by evergreen 23 Jan 2004, 4:05 PM
um, there already is a song. It's fluttering around in my mind right now, like a wild butterfly.

I was cool until "left over from the war." Are you serious? And if you are, still don't say that. The best part is the first stanza. And if you're wondering why I gave yellowtail a 9 for a poem with one of those accented past-tenses ('claspèd') and you got just an 8 it's because I assume yellowtail is an adolescent and (as of now) that you are not.

There was an earlier and longer version with an extended conversation between Blake and a Baron von Goering (seriously) that dark angel would have gotten and nobody else, including myself. I'm glad it's dead. And yes, it does suck to endlessly comment on your own posts.
