Baddafuckup.
halon n. chem. any of various gaseous compounds of carbon, bromine and other halogens, used to extinguish fires.
What?
a)Halons are compounds (molecules), fission is a nuclear process.
b)The elements in these molecules have lower atomic numbers than iron, so they wouldn't spontaneously fission anyway (their nuclei have a lower mass than their component nucleons)
I did just find out that "lyrate" is a word meaning "lyre shaped" though, which is pretty excellent.
Dave,
This is truely......well...a mystery! But you did expend effort to type all the letters..so please accept a heartfelt 1.
I think your caps should be in the middle of line three, giving it somewhat of an arc. Like a small girl grossed out and sqealing. funny funny funny.

I havn't seen that film, but the graveyard at the end of "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly" is really excellent.
Well played. This poem made me think:
There is the classical approach where fine physique and its attainment are considered virtues - the work itself and the struggle are not masochism but something to be enjoyed.
Then there is the reluctant, desperate, reactionary, and poisonous pursuit of perfection that our society is seen to espouse.
What allowed the ancients to pursue this in a completely healthy way while it eats away at us? Or maybe they felt just as lacking as we do, and it is only historians, who seeing images of physical beauty, ascribe to them a sublime sense of the aesthetics of athleticism.
Like it, especially the refreshing rhymes in the first verse

Shit man I'll let you be the judge of that when I tell you I'm the coolest cat this side of crazy town. Been up to my ears in the shit and the hipsters didn't even know what hit 'em. Got a real bad rep for being a loose cannon - the shits don't mess with me 'cos they don't want to be cacked up in nappy of their own shit after messing with my shit for more than a couple of minutes! You gotta problem downtown - I'm your man. I've been around the block, and then, after I did that, I went around the next block and got totally spazzed up on some gear I found smeared on the underside of a discarded potato. You want results? I can get ya results. But when the shit goes down and the stakes go up, then there ain't a cat alive who'd point to a pile of shit on the cobbles of easy street and say "I did that, buddy"

Got a million of em...but before a share another tell me first... is there a serious bone in that old creeking body of yours?
Partial defense: (1) The name has various spellings, depending on language. Oddly enough it was her real name, although the Gaelic root means white/bright. (2) It's a twice reflected light; poet recollects moonlight evening, so the typing need not be moonlit too.
Points of possible confusion: (1) Doggerel is bad verse. (2) halon doesn't fission easily; fission is a nuclear process. (3) elision is a technical word for slurring.
Ditto.
Thanks. I must be doing something right if I pushed someone's buttons enough to warrant the rating of a blue 1.
Cute.
I like your last 2 lines, especially. Nice job.
