I just wanted to wrap it up. The world has been all lit by fire in homes. There are some distinct charcters in this poem: Hell fire, smoke, and flames.

The hell fire is taking a bad person to hell.
The smoke wants the darkness to go away.
The little embers are just happy and having a fun time.

It just means he's really happy. You know how little kids are always so happy? Well he's like that but 1000 times more. Also, no has commented on what this poem is about. Did anyone guess yet?

They need to be there. They're crucial! It's kind of like a song and they're the chorus. It's an echoing cry throughout the poem. It's needed.

Wow...what a great poem! That was excellent! I totally feel the dispair so I'm kind of sad now though. But all in all it was fantastic!

It's supposed to capture the feelings and emotions of a nightmare. That's why it's a LYRICAL poem.
