Blues (Free verse) by Christof Come back to me, woman,
because that catch in the breath -
when the lung puckers slightly
and pinches itself
and just for a moment
a fraction of life lightly
skips before the eyes -
has extended for a month now.
This is serious, woman,
I am literally blue.

I'd like to submit something soon but I have the mother of all writer's blocks! Just nothing is coming out at the moment that I would want to put out for other people to read. This always happens to me - six months on, a year off. Does it happen to anyone else?
Don't worry, mate! I'm sure you'll be a popular poete in no time! Why not write about what you did on the weekend? Or how about writing about something that interests you? A hobby, perhaps. Or even your favorite T.V show! The possibilities are endless!!!!111
I've felt that!! The puckering lung, both physical and emotional. Dead serious and hilarious at the same time.
