My eyes bleed tears, But I did it to myself, I knew better, Than to pull my hope off my shelf, Cause you’re just a dream, A movie made inside my head, A wish upon a star, The El Dorado that I'll never find, Wasting time, Wasting time, I'm just a waste of time, So leave me be, I am who I am and thats nothing much, A whiny Emo kid who imagines too much, So don't waste your time, I'm just a waste of time I know its not your fault and I can’t blame you, After all what would that do, I know I’m just a waste of your time, So I won’t waste my breath, or mine, That doesn’t mean that I won’t dream, Doesn’t mean that when the film is done I won’t press rewind, Doesn’t mean that I’m gonna stop wishing, Doesn’t mean that I’m gonna quit searching, It just means that I’m sticking my hope back on my shelf, After all I did this to myself but it can’t be undone, So I’ll let my eyes bleed these tears till they are dry, And I’ll get on with my life.

I cried or wept blood would be a stonger action.
The Eldorado reference sucks and so does the emo thing lose them, and then maybe you'll be closer. To what? I have no fucking clue.

I would change them but its all a reference to a conversation I had with a girl whom rejected me. But thanks for the advice.

Another of my girl poems. This one isn't even about a girl I dated. How said is that. I do point out in this poem that I'm following the illogical part of my brain and that the logical part knows better.

Actually it is a reference to stigmata, a movie I had watched with the individual this is about.
