Practically every single line of this is wrong. Not surprising, considering your source.

Ace. I've seen it. "No one escaped" bugged me because people obviously did, or were released, at least, though rarely. I imagine you mean in the figurative sense, or in the sense of the country as a prison. Still, I'd feel better without that bit. As far as I know, the worst of the (now-abandoned) prisons are still sealed off. Isn't that the case?

Have you ever read this poem out loud?

One of your best in a while. "Wheel chair knight of no table" needs work. I get it now, and would've had an easier time if you'd made wheelchair one word. Maybe hyphenate "knight-of-no-table" as well. Maybe not.

Something about this poem bothers me.. I'm not sure why either... which is why I shall refrain from voting.

I can tell that I'm being ignored. You haven't even ridiculed me for my question, not even a reply with a elongated and false translation to make me the punchline of a joke. Not even a blasted "bow'ls". Have I done something to deserve being tagged as an invisible and horribly grotesque untouchable? I have a gut feeling that I won't get a reply to my question wrapped in childish whining. But anyway, I figure voicing my curiousity is a needed urge, the side-effect of some dismal disease that I endure daily.

If you experienced some massive head wound, causing your capacity for thought to become moderately impaired, do you suppose you would believe MORE in God, or LESS? Thanks - Curious in Schenectady, NY

Nice try at a villanelle. But please find another subject. I only log in about once a month and there's always a new poem by you on the same damn subject.

This is an improvement. Nice observations and a feeling of emptiness at the end that is very well evoked.

You posted this on my 30th birthday and very fitting it seems.

at first the numerous "it/its" gave me pause - but with that ending - sets it up very nicely indeed.

"Where I used to write letters " might better be, "where I wrote letters" or "where I once wrote letters" and that last line, hmmm - how about "and bleed once more" or something less telegraphed. other than that, as is often said - "ace". Nice tight sentiment.

Good stuff KA - I don't know why you got a fricken 2(?) - oh, it was from God's Wife (the East German judge of PR). Last stanza has excellent pop.

One of those where I'm not exactly sure what is being said, but I listen intently and am thankful for the conversation. Nicely painted.

"And take with you all your bags cause me and her..." Should be "...cause I and her..." but even if grammatically correct, it is still awkward in that context - Maybe you could reword that last sentence?
