This is splendid. Poems about diseases always seem to bring out the best in people.

I enjoyed reading this stylised poem but my interest somewhat waned as its far far too long. You write passionately, one can see that but it felt like an endurance test.
Last year I made speech on social policy in the Rijksmuseum with Rembrandt's great painting of the Night Watch as backdrop. Today I find myself in the magnificent Ridderzaal at the heart of Dutch democracy, reading this great poem aloud to the people of Holland. They clap and sigh.

I would have given this a ten but...oh, no I wouldn't.

This conjurs up some nice images in my head. Just imagine the fun they can have together using Gandalf's magic and think what Magneto could do with a metal dildo. Add the fact that they're the same person...10!

very nice...mabe i would have worded it differently so that it would have a better flow. eg. "will she find her way through all this confusion and hurt?" .... seems too wordy too me. what do you think? dr.

I think that line 9 should go "one thing", it flows better. Also put "At the dentist's" at the end of the line before and keep "or appendicitis" seperate. Finally I would suggest that the final comma should be three dots instead (maybe for dramatic effect). Hey ho, we all have our problems with love but you express them much better than most. Nice work. 8
