"Heaping up dance on my hips" - good line. But starting every line with an "ing" word is a bit boring. "Shaking ones head" takes the "me" out of it. Is English your second language? If so, not bad.

Ok, I looked at the site, but didn't stay there long. If you have a political statment to make in a poem, it would be better to make it, I think, rather than just referung to a URL.

Sounds like what my father called "beating artound the bush." Not very well organized.

Has a nice rattle of words. Drop the last line, I say. But you probably have some reason for it.

Fabulous title and the words live up to it. This deserves to be the worst poem on this site for ever!

This has to be country lyrics because the only way you could get away with this simplistic nonsense is if you were singing it to a bunch of inbred republicans. Do you honestly think you're improving? Do you even care? Do you actually spend the amount of time from one post to another for working on these lyrics? Let me break it down for you:
YOU ARE TERRIBLE, THESE ARE THE WORST "LYRICS" I HAVE SEEN/HEARD SINCE YOUR LAST POST. EITHER STOP WRITING OR HEADBUTT THE SHARP END OF A KNIFE.

I looked at the site and watched the whole film and would recommend any others to do the same; i think this counts as a bit more than a political statement; 10 for the lead 6 for the poem

well; got blown away by this; took it slow and let it speak to me , then saw all this sour-face bitchin and wondered what that was all about. in some of us poetry is a continuum and it being broken up in chunks merely a convention ( sez he pompously)... anyhow, 8 for now and will return to it later

Excellent, D. I think this could be read as a monologue (referencing back to the title) wherein the poet is arguing with him/herself, or it could be an exchange between two.
Do you know, if half the people on All Poetry took this view, the amount of poems online would be reduced by a massive percentage?

You're not from Canada, I see. Check out the Arrogant Worms' self-penned national anthem, 'Canada's Really Big'.
