it's a poem okay, not a secret pact with aliens...do you think you could just leave it alone for fucks sake you talk so much about what the fucking puzzle means no one's going to want to look at it. it becomes as mysterious as a go-fish game..that's what i respect about certain writers on this sight shakowski and richa and quite a few others..they don't de-mystify their work by standing on top of it all day talking. they walk away to do more work. no one want's to know every fucking detail of what this means, or that...it keeps it from belonging to a reader when an author does that, and that's not what poetry's about...i mean..fuck! you dont write the god damn subtext into a screenplay do you? no! you let the actors figure it out and make it their own, so that they can give it to the audience to make it in turn theirs. so here's your ten AGAIN, BUt touch this fucking poem one more time sis, and no more votes damnit. no one want's to read someone who is constantly second guessing themselves..you're a great writer sis..perfection is for hacks and professors, their is a secret beauty in something slightly flawed a distinct fingerprint a uniqueness, fuck utopian cities, give me a hermit in a beaver damn any day.t

it's the description of a location close and personal, any fool can see that..i like richa alot, and have also used the 'extreme' metaphor to describe and set a mood, so get the fuck off his back. once again great title, dark mood, light night. a beautifully jagged beach. 9. p.s if you go read any of his work you will find his style constant, peculiar, and void of to much estrogen, or testerone...and at least he doesn't edit every one of his poems 5,000 fucking times a day. by the way richa, i know you don't talk, but quit editing this poem damnit. it's fine. perfection is for god freaks, stay down here with us at the dark beach we shall count the tides, and be undressed to cleanse by the crabs of the deep.l

nice title...great filler....take the "me" out, put something like cockaroach, or raid can, or i'm in the roach motel, or ROACH CLIP YEAH! ROACH CLIP...SHOEY SHOE SHOEY SHOEY SHOEY SHOE, CHICKITY CHAW, CHICKY WICKY WICKY CHAW! i like roach clip, you know what that is right..it's a joint holder, on the low down, on thw wect coast they call the end of a joint a roach, on the east coast they call it a cocktail.

Jeeesus Christ! What the hell are you talkin' about? "Feathered as a newborn"? You don't have children do you? The first six lines speak to a cocktail of synthetic opiates. Can you say 'Sea World on drugs' or maybe you just lost your way to the harbor, get some sleep.

Wonderful! I think GW offers good advice regarding stopping after "new" in S4--you make your point with "rigidity" and "attack" later. "Clutched core" and the morning-madness kitty attack under the door are excellent. Not sure about the fold/gold/old rhyme--I'd probably drop it. Really like this.
Excellent poem. The explanation was unnecessary and melodramatic. Good luck to you and your dignity.

There is so much going on here, you really need to hold back, I know it's hard at your age. Trust me. tender lids Darkened in sleep. You seem new. Do not venture beyond that. It says everything. Get rid of 'over' in stanza 2(otherwise perfect) Also 'soon to bleed' in stanza one, you don't need it. Your emotion comes shining through. Trust the audience. 'Pouty' is also an un-needed adjective, 'perfect' says it all. Complete 'morn' to morning. I wish I wis I could know you.

You know what, you could be brilliant. Get past the pain and pay attention to what you're saying. Stop repeating yourself. Get rid of the typos, first step. Then take a deep breath and make sure you don't lose the only thing that keeps you going. Stay focused. 10, because of your emotion.

you are a true loving spirit...great in more ways than you may even begin to know. let tomorrow come easily and with this comfort give all you can to your family and friends - as I'm sure you do. You're intoxicating, irreplaceable and greatly needed in this world. Thank you for your words. 10.

Who it the poem's "us". In addition, while sweet, it reeks of a "confessional tone," which could easily be replaced with more refined images. Really, beneath it all you are just a sweet sap, aren't you.
