this isn't a poem. It's a maze
Nonsense.
Tell me about it

I will agree there does seem to be some confilict between the concept and the reality of poetry here, what ever happened to beauty of expression, or depth of meaning, or perhaps both. This is perhaps one of the best I have seen here yet, but it is hardly brilliant.
Very well done. Very nicely portreyed. Imagery that sticks with you.
Jiminy Christmas. Are you sure we weren't lovers once? This sounds too much like something a lover of mine would have written. They are mostly brutal and brilliant.
Sweet child. You are alone because you choose it, or because you need chemicals to help you with your depression. Either way, it makes me sad to think of you languishing in solitude. Life is short to the extreme.

I apologise, I said that under the wrong name.
I've read this through 4x's now. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a battle poem. probably Tennyson's King Arthur or something like that. Hard to believe someone contempary is writing this, this well. Again the theme of Chivalry mixed with brutality, as in Hangman. I find this notion sexy and ancestral. How do men like you deal with this suit and tie society?
Are you an undergrad in the spirit of my dear friend lemonade? Because in all your commenting (I skimmed your chat from the other night), frankly neither of you sound pretentious, but merely like undergrads, and I find that refreshingly cute. And this monstrous poem, although good intentioned and well written, seems, well, young. Something also lemonade is guilty of a bit, but just wait, because I cannot, until she is 30. With her young talent, she could go far. Anyway, one more ramble. When I was a wee lad of eight, I saw a seagull go straight into the head of a young boy. He (the boy) was innocently holding up a piece of bread, and the gull went right through it and into the head. It was quite a site seeing bit of head flying about. Your last line reminded me of that. Well enough of that. I said my piece. Carry on.

why the hell do you dig?
Just keeps getting better. There's a place called heaven and a place called hell. There is a place as cold and disturbing as nightmares at the bottom of a lake.
Um... ew.
very good job.
like I didn't already know that. Holy shit.. and next you're gunna tell me the sky is blue right!? I'm dying to know
Blughh! This is an all around failure. Cliche and badly written. I don't usually comment on bad poetry written by well intentioned youth, but this is so alarmingly bad I could not keep quiet.
Wite a poem about teaching Joanna how to take care of herself. That might be interesting and not so stereotypically condescending.
I could read this forever.
Dare one ask for the percentage of poems you find that actually suit? I confess I've never read such a lovely poem about a website before.
Silly, silly nonsense.
