S2 is anemic, donate some time to it. Sweet, reminds me of A Child's Garden of Verse.
This is simple but not simplistic.
"How definite you seem" brings the sensation of loving rushing to mind. I place my fingers to my forehead.
Interesting!(I think you'd better omit "which is" in 3rd stanza)6
aren't we all nowhere and nothing and at the same time, everywhere and everything? Brilliant Paradox!
It's deep down there, very deep. 10!
god's wife, are you sure it wasn't the 'cup' you are feeling?? ;)
Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country. For me this poem is about typing and nothing more.
abigail, chinese lanterns are not supposed to be lit. now quit.
all I have to say to this is Huh! weird but pretty stylish.
sounds like you need some in a hurry!
I have re-read through 6 or 7 of your works and can't find a thing to say.
I can feel the witches burning. "And, like a child...children," is my favorite metaphor of yours.
Oppressed nests!!!! Honey Bee United 125. Nice poem, one of your top notch ones. I see you have poems in the 7+ that are not showing up in the best of along with others. The site has gone crazy for Jody Conn and her lesbian poem and babbit and his shit. Anyway, I would take the comma out of the second to last line and keep the flow moving. The "you" is also a bit unclear and throws me off track. The poem is inward and the "you" takes it out of that context for a moment. But on a second read it did not bother me as much. Good work writer of triangle poems.
All my love to you. My son boxes his friends on the lawn, It works wonders for them. I'm not advocating violence but it seems to me boys need the outlet. So far it's always ended positively. I like your poem.
Excellent Lenore!(and your view is quite right!)-I think it sounds much better if you put "Spilled gasoline after "somebody's"(but did divide it so because of "Fire"?)I liked your "every minute is a hurried whisper" 9/10 (sorry is it not a house in line19,Great anyway!)
The winged dolie returns from a two week bender. Not the Lost Weekend, the Lost Week. Hurrah! I for one missed you!
roots silver skinned and leaves
Tobacco rolled and smoke dry
Love these. 7/10
I like it because it is true. I hope I don't get in the middle of it.
