I send you internet kisses.
nirvana is cool so i give ten.
I went to the Levi 25 yrs of Punkorama last weekend. Took the boy, had loads of fun. I don't understand the last line. {?} at the end of the L6 looks awkward.
Ah yes, the Times, coffee, a tug and poo and a poem from Chistof to start my day. The circle motif is a bit overused, but always sweet when chaps don't throw the cynicism behind it. I would do that, but you my friend, are to damn sweet.
i don't understand
These a very valid points, given that we're on the brink of a war that no one wants... (in UK anyway)
i'm sure your desperate for a review
This is the only one of yours I haven't commented on yet. It's not my favourite perhaps because it sounds Biblical (Song of Solomon) in tone to me and that always puts me off, but the ending has the right crushed feeling.
christof--drop some of the articles--stars are out tonight/cars are distant/silence is the only sound--
also, last stanza--too wordy, and don't need the rhyme, perhaps? maybe: don't ask me to explain this love/accept its blessings, silent mystery...
Now sap has ebbed leaves a giant question mark. I thought it was a dance of renewal? The Rite of Spring can be pretty funny, but your a sweetheart to compromise.
I get the feeling this piece gets some most of it's sentiment from the melody. Not as much flare as usual.
Much tastier. I can't afford it either, but I'm the bull in the china shop.
i agree with mrs.g. i'm awash in the imagery, but it's a tsunami. break it down into manageable bites; there's no story here to carry me in its current, just wave upon wave upon wave of embroicered finery. balance. seek a balance.
I'm already forming a tune...:)
do you need the first line? i son't think so...
I like this - there's a big implied story behind the poem. The simplicity of what the girl 'says' is very childlike.
poem good. war bad
Fish out of water. Needs music, all those A.M.I.D.s left gasping.
