Wonders of wormwood my dear.
too many cloud-like clouds in 2, other than that, not a cloud in sight.
i shall hack you to bits and feed you to the birds; i shall bleary my eyes with the smoke of thy pyre; and i will spurt-spit ouzo into the ragingest fire for you, my liege!
this is the bamboo that impaled my palm outside of the brig yesterday in venice beach..that's why i'm soaking my hand in a saucer full of peroxide....i'm getting worse and worse at walking the straightline for johnie....but fuck that guy any way....sawoff.horsepill.butane.cornish-h en. 10/10!e
i might try that next time, but indeed it is not a poeme from the likes of say one chuk de negros! for he is the cadylist of all that's unlisted. fort.childhood.rockfight.quarrydive. 9/10...p.s wow! that's three good poims in a row....must of tipped a good rock over this morning cuz...these bugs are fat juicy and hav'n't seen the light of day in awhile.....after all jingoism saved the locknut but malthusian theories felled my uncles remus and romulus, and made hitler do the burning monk dance 'pon knees...care to dance?
i like these sounds, but the damn movie has obliterated any objectivity i might have towards the subject.
eh. but, i am glad that random is back.
Can you imagine my disappointment? I had high hopes for that film. Silly me, I thought it was going to be about Crop Circles. Instead they tried to spoon feed us crap about faith. Oh I did get a good chuckle at all the inappropriate moments. Aliens of superior intelligence rendered lifeless by water, come to a planet covered in such without so much as a wet suit?! Let the record show that this poem is in no way related to or in reference of that deplorable film.
Too bad about >do not float me out to sea> you seemed like a good candidate for a Viking funeral. Pity really, they're my favorite.
Hello my name is Savannah and I am the author the of the poem I am me, I would like to just thank you for taking the time to read it and comment about it. I also would like to thank you for standing up to those of peoples comments. That was very kind of you.
So once again thank you.
Love always,
Savannah

interesting that this just happened to follow Horus' fine gem.
how diaphanous. This poem is brilliant! The best yet! 10/10!!
i'm not into re-interpretations or re-evaluating storys that are best served hot once around, blake was. my piece was about observing the creative process on a secret ergot level. this is more of a cross examination of a myth that's best left untouched, lest your weak comparisson be compared forever to a moral ladened myth. i say fuck morals. nice poem. hardly.
Thanks for your kind comments. I was in two minds about this poem after I wrote it and it is really encouraging to find someone who liked it. :)
I agree that there is grave danger in trying to reinterpret a classic myth. I really only chose this topic to force me to write a poem which was about something entirely external to myself (I fall into the usual trap of spending too much time talking about myself when writing :) )
I'm not sure about the moral aspect of the story, it was mainly the aesthetic of the story and the way it highlights the power of the aesthetic that made it appeal to me.
good point-i completely understand-i just hate coincidenses-and i also can appreciate why you choose to write about external ideas instead of the all encompassing internal id...but that only works when channeling spirits and inorganic beings, because it still has to travel through your internal filters (the externalized)before it gets to us therefore it's tainted by your opinion always no matter what.. unless you are next to me and we are both physically watching the sunset, and one of us is colorblind and neither of us try to describe what we saw with words only presense and postured aura. and even that could be argued.h
mmm mmm mmm
fucking perfect 10/10! incontrovertible...this might be my missing civet cat..
