So sorry to have omitted whatever category it is that you wish to be placed in. And of course your mockery of my insistence on categorizing everybody does in obvious fact categorize all of my poetry.
Dear Angel in Flux,
Regrettable, the way you got stuck in Nethertime. Perhaps if you’d listened to sound advice and not set your flux capacitor to that ridiculous 3.1gw, you’d be dining with King Arthur right now instead of floating about like some poop-stuffed raven over the Fields of Doggerel.
As I was about say when you rudely went off on your ill-fated trip, 1.21 is 1.21 regardless of anybody’s phrasing of it. And to show how wrong you were, I was leading up to the European reversal of comma and decimal point, 1,21, and the omitted and unnecessary zero, hence 1,210 gigawatts, which is far more than 200% in error. It’s too late now, of course, and I do wish time were kinder, but perhaps next time you’ll reconsider your insinuation that girls can’t do math. And, really, “gigawatts” does not become some new-fangled word just because somebody mispronounces it.
Really, DA, I’m shocked. But if you ask nicely, I’ll try to rescue you by deriving an input algorithm for your misfluxed capacity.
Regards,
Dovina
yah, he was fucking with some chick who plagiarized and he was pointing it out rather too vigorously for their tastes, it seems. They eventually banned her for good, in essence, proving his point, after they banned him course.
I don't recall ever talking about straw men but I do rather embarrass myself when attacked so it is possible. Anyway, I just wanted to say I am grateful for the help I get from you zodiac. Thanks.
Your a colossal simpleton.
And congratulations on making up a world in which everyone is either a Christian, atheist, story lover, poet, humanist, logician, drunkard, or teetotaler. After a moment's consideration, I've decided this is what's wrong with all of your poetry.
You're not understanding me. And I'm not setting up a straw anything. That's just something dunces and richa say all the time when they're getting criticized. All I did was replace your images with poems with abstract titles according to what you said they represented. And it didn't add up. Or it kind of did, just all mixed up. Don't take my word for it. Try this: print a copy of this poem and write above each line whether it represents jokes, his wounds, missives, your wounds, or nothing. See what order they come out in, or if the nothing lines even fit with the metaphors at all (hint: they don't!)
To be doing it right, you should come out with either
Image(jokes)
Image(his wounds)
Image(missives)
Image(my wounds)
Such are the jokes
that cover his wounds
and the missives
surrounding mine
----OR (and this is a stretch)----
Image(jokes)
Image(missives)
Image(his wounds)
Image(my wounds)
Such are the jokes, etc etc etc.
If you don't have that, it just doesn't make any fucking sense. People try to fit it into a Jokes, wounds, Missives, wounds structure and get "crusty and clean" snow being his wounds and "tan earth" being your wounds and HOW THE HELL IS CRUSTY SNOW SOMEONE'S WOUNDS???!?! Trust me, ANYONE is going to back me up on this. Oh, wait, I've forgotten. You don't trust the opinion of any person on this site except that moron Dan Garcia-Black. Well, take a jump down a manhole, then. I might as well be talking to a fucking vegetable. Sheesh.
Robert Frost would not say that. And he never learned anything from anybody. You can argue with me if you'd like, but I should tell you I know more about Robert Frost than you know about all other writers put together.
120% fudge; You nigger.
Like it was yesterday.
There’s something in this poem for everyone. If I’ve left someone out, it was not from sluggardry, but ignorance. Christians are offended for obvious reasons; atheists for suggestion of a King; story lovers because it tells, never shows; poets because it omits the cherished poetic devices; humanists for stoicism; logicians for unsubstantiated claims, drunkards for seriousness; teetotalers for simplicity. Have I left anyone out? Oh, yes, me because it’s the way I see it. Appologies.
See, this is a perfect example of why you should be paying attention to that giant black cock up your ass instead.
Just when I thought shit had been explored in all its carefully packed splendor, I step in this.
A fat gack of mulched cod.
You're an immense balloon of idiotic wrongness.
1. The error in the calculation is 3.1 - 1.21 = 1.89. This is about 150% of 1.21, and about 60% of 3.1. Neither of those numbers is MORE THAN 200%.
2. If you had actually seen the film, you would know that it is "Jigawatts". It's pronounced differently from "Gigawatts".
3. All girls are well thick at science.
I might be so bold as to disagree with jroday on that. Truth is consensus of the 'us' referred to by zodiac.
It's commonly quoted that the amount of electricity needed to power the DeLorean's time-travelling in Back to the Future is 1.21 Jigawatts. However, what Doc actually says is "One point twenty-one jigawatts", in other words 1 in the units place and 21 in the first decimal place. That is to say, (1 * 1) + (21 / 10) = 3.1 Jigawatts -- an error of nearly 200%.
To quote the inimitable Jroday, for all future students of the man's profoundly influencial poetry..."truth is more than a mental exercise"
Faggery of the highest possible level.
I see you deleted one of yours. Maybe you'd like this whole record expunged.
