Rhymes are off, iambic pentameter is not there, and the sire.fire rhyme is forced, as are they all.
This is actually a pretty good specimen of the crap that happens when young'uns like you think they can be profound.
-blessed with a 2-
Really, I'm being hard on you because I am expressing an honest opinion, not because I'm retaliating.
Technically terapin burgers. Funny.
Wow, a built in brush-off excuse:
"Don't tell me you dislike what you read
It simply means that you do not understand
The beauty of this free verse
Is hidden between the words"
A new poemranker low!!!
Respect for the ones who made doing this possible and who might rather chuckle at the act than to look at the bottom side of flowers.
Brill!
Still, spot on.
I have to give you a compliment. Consistency.
They did "it"? I think I get this but, I think it can be done better. Lines one and two are kind of telling, and for my own edification, why grandmums?
Are we talking about the dame Dan?
I there are also other explanations, but I'll accept yours.
The thong part did it for me, i dont like it.
I would normally say something stupid, but considering i share a user name with her containing the word skate, i will keep quiet.
Dear Chasz:
Good man!
Doug
Dear Dovina:
Great...... I am very pleased to find that you, just as I, have
developed a fondness for "that man Dan."
Love, Doug
abrupt ending, but point made.
short and to the point.
it perfectly describes the general mood of the event, though still vague in a "you'd have to know to know" kind of way.
it made me stop and say "hmm..."
the rhyming was done quite nicely as well, and didn't detract from the poem itself.
I like as well
