Sorry, I don't know what you're talking about.
But at least I don't write bafflingly cack knockoffs of Nine Inch Nails lyrics and post them under titles like "Pain" and "Depression".
throughout
Beautiful wordplay... well thought out... beautiful overall.
There is this girl in class, and every time we pick partners for study noeone picks her. But she says she likes that because she can work with me (who also has no mates). She could have just picked me in the first place rather than wait for the dark shadow of non selection couldn't she?
I give you a TEN... minus ten. Heh.
You're not a very nice person, and your poetry follows your attitude - it's not nice either.
so we must sin just a little bit to renew our relationship with God? Unless you are feeling shame at simply contemplating a bad action. Which would mean to get close to god you had to contemplate bad things. But what if contemplating bad things was a deliberate ploy to get close to god.
Your writing would be better if you weren't totally convinced that you'd summed up all the important facts about life in a few wishy-washy platitudes and superstitions.
JB,
Why the infatuation with the vile and depraved? There is more to life than unencumbered sexual desire. Your writing could be so much better if not for your lack of emotional depth and maturity.
The shadow of darkness cast from ones shame is a gift. It reminds us of just how far we've drifted from our spiritual nature and how removed we are from the path of life that leads to true freedom and peace. I know I'm leaving myself open here for those who might argue that "shame" is a cultural based emotion that is relative to ones customs and system of belief. But I do believe there is a truth that resonates in all beings and it is to this universally experienced truth that this poem speaks. "You" is God...however you define him/her/it....as a conscious life force or an unconscious source of energy.
yes but anything that is not a buttock might be an illusion; just read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G._E._Moore if you don't believe me.
what do you mean by 'real'.
Interesting enough. The cliches are best when they fit together though.
Best bits - She's driving me over the edge/ stuck in the trunk'
and 'dawns on me/ sun is rising'
Surely it's sufficient merely to expose a single buttock, thus proving that there are at least two things (myself and my buttock), and therefore that there are things external to myself.
Complicated, a riddle maybe. Like "This man's father is my father's son."
Whoa I love this poem. . .
you haven't really lost hope though have you?
