Hear! Hear!

Thanks for the clarification--and the checkliste. It is magnificent and a true public service.
When using the MEDIOCRE POEME CHECKLISTE to rank, the score is 10 or the number of checked boxes, whichever is least.

Patty poop a shroom Where is my manure broom? Alas, dave ate it
Did you hear about the time I rhymed Hep c with pepsi? Let me tell you... It was a popper.
If you collect together 17 haikus, you can make a Haiku Haiku (e.g. see "A Haiku Haiku"). It takes 289 haikus to make a haiku hakiu haiku, but I havn't managed this yet. In theory, it would be possible to construct a haiku haiku haiku haiku, but that would require 4913 haikus, which is more haikus than the human brain can safely process. -6-
Yesterday, i sold my lips for a pair of matching butresses.

Starts quite strong, but then unravels towards the end in cliche imagery.

Yes, very.
Like a headbutt from the lead singer of Insane Clown Posse. It certainly has my attention, but I wouldn't rate it highly. Yeshua was complex, and the only harness he wore was of humility, if the old tales can be said to have any truth to them. Take a nice bath. Try epsom salts. Then have some ice cream. With cherry sauce. As for those decayed lips, you might want to see a doctor.
I prefer your amusement ;)
Oh me oh my! A thing of beauty is a thing of beauty. May God's righteous rod (oh my) raise ye up (and down) and up (and down). Ah--did you fudge a few marks you profess to hit? Where's the suicide or self mutilation, hmm? You fall a little short in the self-referential/reverential overuse of "I" (although I suppose--wait, really really very very good works, nebbermind). I don't know whether to give you a 10 or a zero--which would you prefer?

No, it would make an "ass out of mptuous and you". Which leaves me in the clear. Furthermore, sir, there is no word "assumptuous" in the English language. I no longer feel inclined to call you a capital fellow.

First of all, you have way too much free time. Secondly, your smug little check-list tries to fit my poem into some little box and is very assumptuous. Which we both know makes an "ass out of me and you." Please try commenting without hiding behind a list of inconsequential criteria.

What? It was in your own best interest to lose? So therefore you won because you lost (or something)? Don't be even more of an idiot than I think you are already just for thinking Watson was a detective. I can still remember the look of indignation on your bloated face as you responded to the "Musical Eden" debacle with cries of "FACT" and "tsk" and "musical eden: pure fucking crap created to see how well i could predict your pathetic ranting". Having given up on your attempts to convince the world that you've somehow been toying with me, you've resigned yourself to one last, desperate bid to save face. You think you're the winner because you've progressed as a writer? If that means you'll never use the phrase "exquisite melancholy of the supernatural" again, then it's as much a victory for mankind as it is for the withered prawne I see before me.
