The first draft process for me ends when I think I have spewed out enough raw material so that it hangs together all the way through from a conceptual and structural standpoint which rarely happens without a little bit of polishing here and there. In this case I spent a little bit more revising the material from
"Instead, I greased my pants" to "Who had just flown in from LA the night before' Thanks for devilled.
penultimate verse: you were so beautiful....
is when this really gets going. Certainly memorable.
certainly intriguing, needs a bit of resolution though.
Still plenty to get your teeth into
is this all first draft or just the letting one go part?
liked the ridiculing of the girl admiring a crap piece of art
should be devilled egg. Otherwise it would read de-viled which it certainly was not

hermaphrodite pickle?
anyway enjoyed this 'night out'
wicked
imagery is bordering on disturbing.
'On the floor' is a nice touch. Are they actually on the floor uncared for, or a hospital floor.
Not sure I grasp the plant metaphor though.
Maybe it is about a plant? with a brain?
never said I preferred a waltz to a march.
The first line is saying waltz is a march missing something.
And therefore must be fixed.
the poem is about skewed logic of us, our vision of the world.
Question: You are asked her? This is true?
I like the poem but to me there is some confusion here:
He left you undone, still
Laughing until that shot stopped everything;-->
in the kitchen, ruined by
that hole he blew-->
and you never heard the crack but-->
The recoil sent you sprawling-----> The recoil sent her sprawling? How could she not hear the gun go off?
He didn't leave a note
or clean up his mess--> How can a dead man clean up a mess?
Or is this just good use of poetic licence?
Margaret
And that tells me exactally what?
no no no: MENHIRS with WEINERS. OKAY?? MEN FUCKING HIRS WITH WEIN FUCKING ERS.
Christ, that was a tuna tube steak in a tuba on the tundra surrounded by tanya harding handrinos.
Last night my room-mate punched a raccoon. Life is surreal on the edge between urban and rural.
Just tell me what I gotta do, my friend.
lol. well, i was fooled for a moment then. -shrug- hows the killin?
I wouldn't kick him out of bed if he was, anyway, but it's not.
the writing here was banal.. dull.. it felt dead.. was that the intention? 7
heh, well all his talk about murder and his goading me to get in on the theme just slowly worked its way into me, and i suddenly had the mood for it, so i put effort into creating a murder piece of some value.. or i think it has value, i am happy with what i came up with anyway..
what the fuck are you mumbling about? eh? start them in WHAT WAY? aye? how do you propose i start them hrmm??? eh??
if your going to gripe, dont make some goddamn worthless comment like that without explaining your bullshit. ok?
