but ?UNFORTUNATLEY? I can't remember who in the hell you are anyway. it sounds as though its more fortunate than not. Otherwise I love this poem. VERY real. Great work.

I didn't mean straddling, but simply the mechanical rocking motion of the horse. I used the horse because it has that straddling associated with it, but more directly I was only going for the actual rocking motion. Thanks

I figured I'd tell you again that I really like this poem. I think the fact that it is busy gives it some power and sets a really good mood. To me, it seems like "This is your holiday in hell" sounds like it is ending. But that's just the way that I am thinking right now.

I like this because I totally understand it. And this part : Someone once said; 'To have loved and lost, is better than to have never loved at all', Well I say that this person has never known love. It is better to have never loved, Because the pain of love, true love lost, Is unbearable to anyone with a soul. :is very very true, at least to me.

I don't really understand how the graphics coincide with the overall meaning of the poem, and I think that the language used in the poem takes away from the overal meaning of the poem, but overall good.

Narrarator: You see, INTRANSIT, new to sailing, was thinking "upwind tack" when the order was given, thereby allowing the wind to catch him unawares. This in turn, caused his "deck shoes", wet from an previous unpleasantry, to *squelch* and ungrip themselves, sending INTRANSIT to feed the prawnes.
