I know it is in bad taste to say something when your clearly aching with sorrow over the loss of your second cousin but this poem just lacks something, I can't put my finger on it but it will come to me...

on How to make a suicide bomber by Caducus 14 Mar 2005, 4:02 AM
No, No, No, No, NO!

I am going to say something controversial, but what differentiates me from a suicide bomber is a Christian education and looking bulky without having to wear a belt of C4.

on "America The Beautiful" by jroday 17 Mar 2005, 5:39 AM
That it is a fantastic anthem for all the confused members of the human race. Your various points seem to be:

1) America spends more on space travel than finding a cure for disease. I believe US companies would love to find a cure for AIDS and cancer as it would make them more money - I don't believe there is a direct correlation between the budgets of NASA and Pfizer.

2) Because America is wealthy it should not have homeless people. Bow'ls.

3) The law backs the wealthy against the "people". Bernie Ebbers would probably back you right to the point where he goes down for 80 years.

4) By invading a despotic state whose main aim was to cause as much turbulence in the Middle East as possible the safety and security of the United states has been in some way compromised. How many terrorist bombings have there been in the USA since the overthrow of the regimes in Iraq and Afghanistan?

5) Never has the USA been more united never has a president received such an enhanced majority in favour of his previous term in office, never have so few disgruntled lefties whinged quite so loudly.

-10-
There once was a young girl from Milwaukee,
Who went off west to star in a "talkie",
Alas, that her fate,
Was to star with horus8,
After which her movements were gawky.

Have you been following the Schiavo case? You see if you do nothing to persuade people you are not in a permanent vegative state someone will remove your food pipe.
Not forgetting Cholmondeley-Belvoir,
Who smites them with his golden retriever;
Or that Cad, Hesketh-Horace,
who prefers to bite of their clitoris.

Do you and CLS show each other your bits over the internet - I suppose it's easier for CLS to do so as they are detachable.
