One must first listen to the totally pointless "music" produced from the mind of Mr. 8 to appreciate the utter hypocrisy of this piece. 6 on craftsmanship 2 on message..........-4-

I'm a book lover too, and find this friendly to my addiction. But it's overdone even for a lover's taste.

I read your username as Sin-Gin-KY[Jelly]-Gal. I would strongly recommend rewriting this poem with one of those images/topics as a central figure - a leitmotif, if you will. By the way, leitmotif is your word for the day. Have a nice one. -7-

I like it but it doesn't read like a poem, at least until the last stanza, it reads more like a paragraph -- maybe that was your point - i still thought it was good

Half serious, half silly, many practices rolled into one. I likes.

Simple theme, simple rhyme. I like it, anyway

The Zodiac/nutsac rhyme is doubly ironic since my real name is Yitzhak. -10-

Why not hyApatia? Anyway, where are the other poems you've written? I would add -natures canvas- somehow. Also, no, damn. The poem just changed on me.

"Jeremi Britt Handrinos' first collection delivers an exemplary paradox of the authenticity of life lived put into words. He toys with conventional forms like a magician and throws off the surrogate voices of the past with his own pure and stark imagery. Bold, free, raucous at times, Handrinos splits the mundane, as sudden as a cut on the finger then leaves you to taste your own blood." -10-

I wish I was more Irish than I am. I wish I could be of more help to you. But you're getting such a grip on the 4th dimension and I have yet to grasp the third.

Quite.... interesting to say the least. I like the repeated used of the pushing change line.

Oy, you have to hate poetry sites that have way too much ego built into them, glad I stumbled upon the one in my profile, so free. Anyhow, nice write, and true.
